Bastian H.
Bastian Herrnböck
Managing Director | Global Side Services GmbH

Bastian has been with GLOBAL SIDE since April 2022 and is one of the drivers of innovation in management. He started as Head of Technology and became Managing Director of Global Side Services GmbH in 2023, making him responsible for the team and solutions of the cross-organisational AI and data service, DATA by GLOBAL SIDE. Bastian develops IT solutions and highlights the importance of these products both internally and externally, which means he is also involved in a lively exchange with customers. He used to be a professional ice hockey player and spends his free time with his family. Bastian is proud when his work makes a difference in the world and values honesty and willpower. His favourite quote: “I’m really proud when my work just changes the world a little bit.”

Florian Syska
Senior Fullstack Developer


Florian has been a Senior Fullstack Developer at DATA by GLOBAL SIDE since July 2021. Previously, he worked as a software engineer and developed test software. He is currently responsible for the development of the new GLOBAL SIDE ATHENA platform. Florian is known for his ability to develop innovative solutions and implement new technologies. He loves to start new projects and find creative approaches in software development.

AI Engineer

Francisco has been with DATA by GLOBAL SIDE since July 2023. He has a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a specialisation in MLOps. As a former full-stack developer, he has extensive knowledge of statistics and pattern recognition. Francisco describes his job in a charmingly childlike way: “I teach computers to be intelligent – much like a teacher teaches children new things.” He values honesty, respect, and collaboration. He is passionate about travelling and discovering new cultures and cuisines. He would prefer to eliminate inefficiency and unnecessary bureaucracy. Francisco is particularly proud when he successfully completes a challenging project and sees a positive impact.
